Dad was muched loved and I am grateful for all the cards, calls and visits from people who wanted to talk with Dad before he died and let Dad how much loved and how helpful he was to them. That will always be a lasting legacy for me to remember.
Dad was able to spend his last days as he wanted, at home, because of the wonderful care from the Hospice of St Francis and the nursing team and the community carers who made our lives so much easier. They slipped easily into the routines of our home and became part of the family. After Dad died I missed not only Dad but them too.
I will be forever grateful for their help in giving Dad the utmost dignity in his last weeks and ensuring he was pain free. They anticipated Dad's every need, over delivered in everything they did for us, and were there for every step of this journey that neither of us wanted to be on.
At the most awful time of our lives they helped us have quality time which I will treasure always.
Please help support this wonderful cause.
